Making Peace With Change: A Stress Reduction Workshop for Women
Sunday, September 26 from 1-4:30pm
Come to a place of peace in dealing with change in your life. Geared towards women in transition, this workshop will provide a quiet space for reflection and relaxation, understanding your sources of stress, finding your center and receiving support for coping with current changes and challenges. We will utilize yoga poses and breathing, guided meditations, essential oils, journaling and other tools to enhance your ability to relax, and cope more effectively with change.
Facilitator Dylan Mariah, has offered personal growth workshops since 1983. She is both a Usui and a Karuna Reiki Master Teacher with additional training in therapeutic touch, guided imagery, hypnotherapy, Japanese healing techniques, aromatherapy and other modalities. A Registered Nurse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Health Educator & Certified Yoga Teacher, she has a private practice in Bushnell's Basin offering Reiki, Transformational Counseling, Yoga, consultation and education.

Drooping eyelid is also called ptosis or blepharoptosis. In this condition, the border of the upper eyelid falls to a lower position than normal. In severe cases, the drooping eyelid can cover all or part of the pupil and interfere with vision. Learn about the latest in ptosis treatments and other common eyelid problems, such as tearing disorders and eyelid growths, from the eyelid plastic surgeons of Ocusight Eye Care Center. Dr. Paul Rosenberg, Dr. Sean Mogan, and Dr. Anna Rothstein specialize in oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal surgery. They are providing an informational session and an informal screening portion for those interested. This presentation is FREE and open to the public; however, registration at the JCC Main Desk is requested.

Bridge LessonsTuesdays, September 21 - October 26: 10:30am-12:30pm
These classes will provide you with a framework for establishing a firm foundation in bridge. The format will be an interactive lecture and then interactive play. See how much fun Bridge can be!
Classes will be taught by Silver Life Master, Jerry Manioci. Jerry has several Regional championships to his credit at the Flight A level, and is competitive at the national level. He is an experienced Bridge teacher.

Letchworth Park Day Trip
