Placement for Swim Classes
Children of any age who have never taken a JCC swim class should contact Starr Greenwood at ext. 267.

Private Lessons
Anyone, any age can learn to swim. We offer private lessons for adults or children wanting individual attention in swim. instruction at any level. Lesson day and times are set up for your convenience.

Fee: $25/half-hour
Member discounted fee $18/half-hour




Summer Swim Camp
Develop your endurance and speed in the water. Learn competitive swim techniques, Must be in Red Cross Level 5 or above.

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, June 30 - August 15 (no class July 4)
Grade 1 & 2, 3:30 - 4 pm; Min. 4, max. 8
Grade 3 - 5: 4 - 4:30 pm; Min. 4, max. 8
Grade 6 - 8: 4:30 - 5:30 pm; Min. 6, max. 12
Fees: Members $120/20 classes, $100/16 classes
Non-members $160/20 classes, $130/16 classes



Children's Swim Classes
Registration begins June 15 for members, June 22 for non-members

Swim Class Dates/Fees
Sunday: June 29 - August 10 (7wks.)
Tuesday: July 1 - August 12 (7 wks.)
Fee: $45 member, $70 non-member


Preschool Aquatics
• Parent observation for first and last class only.
• Absolutely NO disposable diapers or pull-ups allowed in pool.
• Tots/toddlers must wear swimmies or snug fitting plastic pants if not toilet trained.
• All lessons and aquatic classes are subject to transfer and/or cancellation based upon enrollment. Refunds will be given according to policy.
There are no make-up swim classes, due to class ratios and consistency.


TINY TOTS AND PARENTS
Age: 10 months-2 years
Become comfortable in the water through water games, blowing bubbles, kicking, and beginner floating.
Min. 4, max. 12.
Sunday, 10 - 10:30 am


ADVANCED TINY TOTS AND PARENTS
Age: 3-4 years
For the older baby or pre-schooler and parent. Becoming comfortable in the water, beginning kicking, floating, blowing bubbles, arm strokes and safety.
Min. 4, max. 12.
Sunday, 10:30 - 11 am

LEVEL I - OTTERS
Age: 4-5 years
Water and class adaptation, kicking, floating, jumping in, and putting their faces in the water. Child must be at least 4 years of age.

Grade K-5 Aquatics

LEVEL II - JELLYFISH
Age: 4-7 years
For the child who is comfortable in the water who needs work on basic swimming skills. Students will be introduced to front and back crawl, floating, safety and rescue skills. Min. 3, max. 4.

Tuesday, 4:30 pm - 5 pm


LEVEL III - SEA MONKEYS
Age: 6+ years
Pre-requisite: Level II skills. Students will be taught elementary backstroke, rotary breathing, front and back crawl, development diving, safety, survival and rescue skills. Min. 3, max. 6.

Tuesday, 5 - 5:30 pm




LEVEL IV - ELECTRIC EELS
Age: 6+ years
Pre-requisite: Level III skills. For the child with good front and back crawl for 10 yards. Course will review already learned strokes, introduce sidestroke and breast stroke kick, safety and rescue skills. Min. 4, max. 6.
Tuesday, 5 - 5:30 pm


LEVEL V - NARWHALS
Age: 7+ years
Pre-requisite: Level IV skills. Coordinate and refine the key strokes. Butterfly, open turns, and feet first surface dives introduced. Min. 4, max. 6.
