You'll get acquainted with the works of outstanding Yiddish authors such as Sholem Aleichem, I. L. Peretz, Isaac Bashevis Singer, I. J. Singer, and Shaolem Asch.
You may listen to the tapes right in the Yiddish Center - the key is at the reception desk. Sign out the key, take a tape off the shelf, insert it in the DVD slot of the television, sit in a comfortable chair, relax and get lost in the world of Yiddish literature. Tapes may also be borrowed for a limited period of time. See Phyllis Kasdin if you wish to borrow a tape.
