Anti-Semitism In Our Backyard?
Learn how to talk to your children about anti-Semitism
Wednesday, October 20 at 12pm

Many of us continue to hear stories about our community's children being victimized by anti-Semitism. Bonnie Abrams, Director of the Center for Holocaust Awareness and Information, will present ideas on how to teach our children tools so that they are better prepared if ever confronted with anti-Semitism.

Adolescence is a tumultuous time period in your child's development which can pose parenting dilemmas. At times, your teen can be non-communicative, opinionated and moody. Strategies for effectively communicating and setting limits while simultaneously building self esteem (for both teen and parent) and decreasing family conflict will be presented.
