Do you have to be Jewish to join the JCC?
No, the JCC welcomes everyone without regard to race, age, gender, religious preference and marital or economic status.
What is the length of a membership contract?
New members can sign-up for a trial 3-month membership with special pricing as long as they have not been a member in the past 12 months.
Membership options to choose from include: 3-month membership, a continuous membership with a 12-month commitment, or an annual membership (with payment in full). These types of memberships are renewable.
If I am new to exercising, how do I get started?
We offer all new members (ages 14+ years) our "FitPlan" which includes two free one hour sessions with a personal trainer. An orientation is also provided on the strength training circuits in the lower fitness center.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Guest passes are available for purchase at the main desk by JCC members. A guest must be accompanied by a JCC member when using the JCC.
What hours are you open?

Do you offer child care?
We offer Free Sitter Service for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years old with a two hour time limit. Parents must remain in the JCC.
Children's Play Gym for children ages 5 to 10 can be signed in while you work out. Ages 2-4 must be accompanied by a parent.
Our In ZoneYouth Fitness Center is for children ages 6 -12.
Do you have anything especially designed for adults 65 yrs +?
Yes! We have a state of the art fitness center and participate in the nationwide SilverSneakers® program and Silver&Fit program. We offer seminars, classes, luncheons, discussion groups and trips throughout the year. Please review the Adult section of our website. In addition, we have the TechAge Adult Computer Learning Center for computer classes and open lab. Visit their website at roctechage.org.
Do you offer reciprocity with other JCC's?
Most JCCs offer some form of reciprocity. We offer 2 weeks of facility usage with a valid ID card from another JCC. We would be happy to contact any out of town JCC to check on their specific policy for you. We can also provide verification of membership when traveling since our key tag card does not offer that information.
Do you offer email updates?
We send out a weekly eblast to JCC members with details on upcoming programs and activities. Please make sure that we have your current email address on your account.
Is the JCC handicap accessible?
Yes, the JCC facility is equipped with dedicated handicap parking areas and handicap parking with ramp and security access to the pool and fitness center. A Hoyer lift, hydraulic chair, and therapeutic stairs are available in the swimming pool. The JCC has an elevator in the front lobby for access to the lower level with a special FOB key. A FOB is issued at the main desk with a valid handicap sticker and license and a $15 refundable deposit at the main desk.
Do you offer any financial assistance with your membership fees?
Yes. The JCC offers financial assistance for the membership fees based on financial need. Financial Aid applications are available at the main desk or can be downloaded from our website. Financial Aid is granted based on available resources. All applications are kept confidential.
