The JCC is proud of its long history serving the Rochester community. Founded in 1907, the now Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center (JCC) is a vibrant, exciting, and inclusive center for all the community to learn and grow from one another. The JCC continues to be a place of personal growth, education, and friendly interaction that is ingrained in the lives of its members and the Greater Rochester community.

Fill the Tent with Light

Our Purpose

We recognize that in our modern world people are missing authentic connections and genuine community. That's part of what attracts others to the JCC: It's a feeling of having a personal relationship with the staff and others around you.

We are dedicated to creating a community that's strong at its core. From this place of balance, we can extend beyond our Center and meet members where they are.

We invite everyone into our "tent" to experience the compassion, respect, and authentic connections that are unique to the JCC.

To be a vibrant center of Jewish living and values that is vital to the community at large for generations to come.

The Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester is deeply rooted in and committed to celebrating Jewish traditions and values.

We welcome the community at large to join together for exceptional events and activities that establish lifelong connection and enhance our individual and collective well-being.
