We seeking a FULL TIME Maintenance Technician to work in a team with the following job duties listed below.

Job Summary:

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance in Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC throughout the building (190,000 square feet) including: Fitness Center, Aquatics, Offices, Professional Theatre and Children’s Centers.

Schedule:

Primarily full time days with flexibility required to participate in on-call rotation and to accommodate work that cannot be done during regular operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Working in a team to answer maintenance calls and responding to work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • General Maintenance and repairs including: ceiling tile and light bulb replacement
  • Performing basic plumbing duties including repairing and replacing pipes, repairing and installing sinks, toilets and shut off valves.
  • Electrical – Changing outlets and installing small electrical appliances.
  • HVAC – Boiler experience and knowledge of Chillers.
  • Backwashing the pools and chemical testing. (Pool care experience would be helpful but we will train)
  • Snow removal including clearing of all entrances, staircases and sidewalks and maintaining them throughout the day. 

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Two to three years’ experience in Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC.
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
