Learn how to knit the LaLa shawl which is a simple knit pattern with a bit of texture and lace.

Crochet: Crochet a Granny Square (Intermediate)

Learn to crochet a "granny square" - a type of crocheted square. Class time will focus on the main structure and work of the classic crochet granny square in the round using double crochet stitches and working in clusters with chain stitches separating the sets. We'll also discuss the many variations of the "granny."

Materials: Please either bring the below materials, or $12 to purchase a supply kit (needles and yarn) from the instructor.

Musical Theatre Boot Camp

A Five-Day Musical Theatre Intensive
Monday, August 5- Friday, August 9, 2019

Learn how to prepare for and nail your audition in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment.

Working in group settings and one-on-one, instructors will help performers identify, prepare, and perform age and character appropriate monologues and songs for musical theatre auditions. The week culminates with a mock-audition before a panel of local directors and artists.

Sessions include intensive work on Monologue Technique and Vocal Performance with additional workshops on Dance Technique for Dancer and Non-Dancers, Tackling the Classics, Conquering your Cold Reading, and Industry Secrets for Successful Auditions.

An optional evening session for parents of college-bound students will be also be held to discuss the oftentimes overwhelming process.
