230 Get to Know Your Android Phone or Tablet - The Basics

Get more comfortable using your Android tablet or phone. In this 4-lesson class you will learn to understand and enjoy your Android tablet or phone. Topics will include tablet/phone basics, customizing your device's screen, downloading apps, surfing the web, e-mail, photography, and video, and more.

New to Windows 10 or need a refresher? You will learn the essential skills to get the most from your computer. Learn how to use and customize the Start menu and Taskbar, use free word processing tools, and search using the Cortana voice assistant. Learn how to access the Internet and use email. Get familiar with standard apps on your computer and download others from the Microsoft App Store, and much more.

Learn to organize your PC's "electronic filing cabinet", create an efficient filing system and save files and folders so you can find them later. 250 FIND MISSING MONEY

Find missing money for yourself, family and friends! Learn why money goes missing and where those funds go. Learn how to get it back and prevent it from happening again. This hands-on class includes tips to help you perform in-depth searches of both New York State and national websites. Students may use their own laptop computer or tablet or a TechAge classroom computer.

Prerequisite: Basic internet skills (i.e. experience "surfing" the web) on either a computer or mobile device.

Learn the basics of creating simple spreadsheets to organize, calculate and display data. These spreadsheets can be used to create and analyze household budgets, financial portfolios, address lists and endless other practical applications.
