JCC Hart Theater Covid-19 Safety Guidelines
Updated October 1, 2021

We recognize that Covid safety is on the forefront of everyone’s minds. CenterStage is following Broadway and CDC protocols and guidelines requiring vaccination proof and mask-wearing indoors. Social distancing of your seats upon request is also available. Those with medical exemptions can contact the box office for additional options.

In addition, our HVAC system has been upgraded to include MERV 13 air filters in the theater and throughout the entire JCC. We have also programed the system to maximize fresh air flow into the building and replace all the air in the theater every 15 minutes.

• All of our actors/performers, directors, musicians, backstage crew, and ushers are required to be fully vaccinated.

• Masks covering both the mouth and nose will be required at all times by all audience members ages two and up. Masks with a valve, gaiters, bandanas, and scarves are not permitted.

• At the door, all audience members 12 and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination (that is, a second dose or single-shot vaccine received at least 14 days prior). Patrons may show either paper or electronic documentation of vaccination (including photo of vaccine card or Excelsior Pass) along with photo ID. Children under 12 do not need to show documentation.

• We are asking any patron who is feeling ill to please stay home and utilize our many ticket exchange options. Our staff and volunteers will do the same. Rest assured that if for any reason we must cancel a performance or if you are unable to attend, we will honor your commitment to us by offering a full array of generous ticket exchange and refund options.

To keep the arts (and our patrons!) alive, our local theatre community is unified in encouraging all eligible individuals to get the Covid-19 vaccine. Vaccines are free, safe, well-tested and effective, and readily available for everyone ages 12 and older. For more information about the vaccine, please visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus. Find a Covid-19 vaccine near you at www.vaccines.gov.
