Know Before You Go
Since we’ll be outdoors, don’t forget your sunscreen, bug spray, visor, jacket, seat cushion, bottle of water…whatever you need to be comfortable!
Chairs are provided. All seats are wheelchair accessible. The path to the venue is paved and seating is on the JCC tennis courts so there is a safe and solid surface. No mud!
Concessions vary depending on production. Bottled water will be available for sale for all JCC events. Bar and snacks provided by The Hideaway for Concert Series events. No outside food or drink for concerts, please.
Access to indoor restrooms and portable units.
- Seating is no longer socially distanced.
- NYS recommends people who are not vaccinated should still wear masks in all public settings.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at the box office on your way in.
It is our desire to begin every performance on time and complete every performance as planned, even in the event of light rainfall. In case of heavy rains, winds, or extreme weather events, we may delay the start of the show, or add brief brief breaks in the hope that the weather will clear. Announcements will be made informing audience members of “holds.”
Events may be canceled due to weather up to 2 hours prior. Please check these locations if you have questions. Please do not call the JCC for weather updates. If you do not receive an e-mail or see a notice online, you can assume the show will go on as scheduled.
Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to help live events return to the JCC.
Special thanks to Hamilton Audio Visual, Hank Parker’s Tent Rentals, New Life Electronics, David Daniels, all our volunteers and JCC staff for helping to bring the Canalside Stage to life.
