School Day at the J

Learning at JCC Daycare

Each session includes the three days a week that students are not physically attending school, easing the day-to-day demands that remote learning has placed on parents.

We have created a structure that partners with both schools and parents to ensure that academic, enrichment and social needs are met.

Enrichment opportunities include: STEM, fitness/athletics, visual arts, drama, and dance.

Qualified school-age professionals are prepared to support both online learning and enrichment opportunities that provide social engagement.

Our campus offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space for safe learning and activities.

Students in grades 7–12 have a classroom and a lounge area with tables and couches to work where they feel most comfortable.

All students will stay within their own ‘groups’ throughout both the day and the week.

Membership at the JCC is not required.

School Day at the J

School Day at the J from a Parent's Perspective

I just wanted to reach out and say a huge thank you for everything you and your team does at the J for John – I could not be getting through this time without your help and the help of Mike and Oliver and Brendon and the daily support given to John. They are an amazing team and John if given the choice would be there 5 days a week until 8pm – he loves it. Mike especially goes out of his way daily to support John with his homework and keeps him focused which is not always an easy task, he also touches base with me when issues come up which I appreciate. They play chess with John, are working on a play, keep him active and are positive role models for him in a Jewish environment which is so important to me and I know it is part of why John likes being there. I’m so grateful you are open right now and running this program and wanted to thank you!!!
