The JCC strives to provide a culturally rich environment that is rooted in Jewish values. Within our theater and libraries, the JCC offers the Greater Rochester community opportunities to engage, learn, and connect.

Hart Theater

Our 288-seat theater with state-of-the-art lighting and sound, has a sloped floor so you can see and hear from every one of our comfortable seats. The theater is handicap accessible with wheelchair seating, a hearing assistance system and no stairs to maneuver. There is plenty of free parking available in our well-lit parking lot.

The Hart Theater is home to CenterStage, the JCC's professional theatre program, as well as TYKEs (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy), the Rochester Jewish Book Festival and other special programming throughout the year. In addition, the theater is available to rent for special events and corporate meetings.

Lipson Lounge

CenterStage Theatre and JCC supporters can enjoy pre-show and intermission visits to the beautiful Lipson Lounge. The lounge is underwritten by Dr. Dawn and Jacquesz'l Lipson. The Lounge features a stylish seating area and bar. The Lipson Lounge is also available for parties and special events.
