PJ Library Mensch Makers (Volunteams): JCC Little Free Library

Sunday, November 12, 12–4pm
Auditorium C

Free and open to the public (10+ years old please)

Drop in anytime from 12–4pm as we join together as a community to build/decorate and stock two Little Free Libraries for installation at the JCC! We’ll provide all the necessary materials, as well as light snacks/beverages. Come to help. Come to socialize. Come just to watch!

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.

As we re- imagined our Festival this year, we thought that adding Little Free Libraries to our public spaces was a fitting way to build community and bring people together to work on a project that will help create a year-round, accessible way of fostering literacy and reading.
