Wellness Wednesday – Understanding Dizziness in Older Adults
Join us for the first session of the month in our Physical Therapy Series with Rochester Regional Health expert Kelly Schauf, PT. Kelly will review the most common causes of dizziness in older adults, including vertigo, orthostatic hypotension, medical-related dizziness, and vestibular hypofunction.
No prior knowledge is needed—Kelly will explain these conditions clearly and discuss how they impact balance, mobility, and overall quality of life. Participants will also learn practical strategies to reduce risk and improve daily functioning, helping support confidence and independence.
This program is free and open to the community. Participants do not have to be a member of the JCC to join in person or on Zoom.
Zoom is available for those who cannot attend in person.
