American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class9am-4pmParticipants must be able to swim 300 yds and tread water for 2 minutes. Class for initial certification in which the participant will receive the latest science-based training on how to create a safe swimming environment, and, if necessary, help save a life. Must attend all online classwork prior to course and attend all three days of class.
 
 
 
 
Heat Up Your Cold Read Audition: Acting Workshop10am-1pmStudents will explore how to break down text, follow direction, and bring themselves into different characters to quickly deliver a memorable cold read audition. A great class for those looking to learn, develop and/or brush-up on the skills that are the foundation of dynamic audition technique.

Participants do not need to prepare anything for this class.

Learn how to text with special effects, photos, emojis, images and much more. Course taught using a device updated to Apple's newest operating system, but applicable to devices on older operating systems.
Prerequisite: Get to Know Your iPhone or iPad - Basics.

Spring Into Fitness10:45am-12:15pmTest out some of the JCCs hottest cardio formats with this special, sampler style class, consisting of Zumba, our newest format, Strong by Zumba, and H.I.I.T. Cycle. Please note that unlike classic Zumba dance fitness, Strong by Zumba is a high intensity interval training workout. Modifications will be shown.

Healthy Nails and Feet 1-2pmLearn the importance of proper foot care related to quality of life. Karen Boss, RN will address foot problem risk factors, normal aging changes, fall prevention and appropriate footwear.
Instructor, Karen Boss, is a NYS Licensed Nail Technician and Member, American Foot Care Nurses Association.
