Wolk Children's Center

Childcare in Brighton, NY

The Wolk Children’s Center believes that children grow best with exploration, discovery and play.

We provide a supportive and caring environment to celebrate each child’s uniqueness and build empathy for others.

Every child is encouraged to question and understand their world and build lifelong Jewish values.

Our Programs

Childcare

8 Weeks to Early Childhood

Each day at the Center is filled with learning opportunities to encourage your child’s curiosity, foster social skills, and stimulate key interest centers — including creative art, language and literacy, sensory and motor, and cognitive development.

Kindergarten

The first ‘real’ school day!

Self-esteem, cooperation and confidence are just a few of the important areas in this first foray at school.

We’ll help your child learn about (and from) the world, organize information and solve problems.

We use a combination of teacher-initiated activities and child-initiated activities.

School Day at the J

We know how hard it is to teach school in addition to everything else that you have to get done.

The JCC is here to help your family with the challenge of hybrid learning this school year. Remote learning can be stressful for both students and families. We can help.

Rochester Regional Telehealth for K–12

Rochester Regional Telehealth

The JCC has partnered with Rochester Regional Health to bring Telehealth to our campus. Available to all children enrolled with us, telehealth offers a convenient way to address urgent healthcare needs remotely and conveniently for everyone aged 6 months to18 years old.

Telehealth visits can be scheduled virtually through videoconference between the hours of 10am-6pm when you child is here.

No more rushing to bring your child to the doctor’s office or to an urgent care facility.

Common reasons for visits include such things as:  cold/regular flu, cuts, ear pain, fever, insect bites and allergic reactions.

Service is billed through your insurance company, typically as an office visit.

There is no cost to sign up – just complete some simple paperwork and you and your child are ready to take advantage of this convenient collaboration.

We're Serious About Safety

We have all the safety protocols and processes in place to operate safely – these protocols have been thoroughly tested since we reopened in June 2020.

Students will stay within their own ‘groups’ throughout both the day and the week.
