Missoula Children's Theatre

The Pied Piper - April 1 to 6, 2019

Back by popular demand for the 15th time: the Missoula Children’s Theatre Experience!

Once again, TYKEs welcomes an incredible concept in children’s theatre—a full-scale musical with sets, costumes, make-up and props, starring 60 local kids—all created within a week.

Kids can enjoy the show in two ways: by watching it—or starring in it! Budding thespians, ages five and up, rehearse Monday through Friday and perform the show that Saturday. Missoula Children’s Theatre has been touring all over the world for more than 40 years and comes to town with everything needed to put on a play—except the cast. Children spend the week learning lines, songs and choreography for this full-length musical.

The non-refundable cost is $175 per week and includes one free show ticket. Children do not need to audition in order to participate! Call (585) 461-2000, ext. 235 or 269 to register your young thespian, grades K to 12, today, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. This program sells out quickly!

Rehearsals are April 1 to 5 from 4 to 8:30pm. Performances are April 6 at 1 and 3:30pm. All participating children perform in both shows.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Younger kids’ rehearsal times are shorter (typically 4 to 6pm), and not all children attend for the full rehearsal time. A complete rehearsal schedule according to role is provided on the first day of the program once children are assigned to their roles.
