The JCC Wolk Children's Center

The main focus at the JCC Wolk Children’s Center is to help children grow — socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually.

High-Quality Care Meets Hands-On Learning

Our hands-on curriculum and enrichment activities address all areas of development, build self-confidence, and help children become active participants in school and life.

Every Child Welcome

The Center is open to all children regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or ability. We have spaces equipped for children who require speech, occupational, or physical therapy, and our classroom kitchenettes accommodate Kosher and individual dietary needs.

Well-Rounded Curriculum

Each day at the Center is filled with learning opportunities to encourage your child’s curiosity, foster social skills, and stimulate key interest centers — including creative art, language and literacy, sensory and motor, and cognitive development. We provide a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, and our developmentally appropriate materials and lesson plans emphasize the process over product to instill a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Family First

Parents, siblings, and other family members play an integral role in a child’s success. That’s why the Center strives to meet the needs of the entire family. Teachers build relationships with parents, who have access to the classrooms, the option to observe through one-way windows, and the opportunity to sign up to become Room Parents to get even more involved.

Jewish Values

Our approach to Jewish content is not just about religious practice but rather exposure, experience, and values. We infuse Jewish traditions into daily activities at the Center in a pluralistic way that is welcoming and accessible for children with a variety of backgrounds.
