Learn how to prepare for and nail your audition in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. Working in group settings and one-on-one, instructors will help performers identify, prepare, and perform age and character appropriate monologues and songs for musical theatre auditions. The week culminates with a mock-audition before a panel of local directors and artists.
Sessions include intensive work on Monologue Technique and Vocal Performance with additional workshops on Conquering your Cold Reading, and Industry Secrets for Successful Auditions.
An optional session for parents of college-bound students will be also be held to discuss the often overwhelming process.
Ages 12+ and adults. New and experienced actors, singers, and/or dancers who want to hone and expand their performance skills. A perfect option for college-bound youth or for any student of the performing arts interested in taking their craft to the next level.
Daily 9am-3:30pm. Lunch available on site or bring your own.
