Chief Advancement Officer

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) is a key member of the Executive Team who will lead an integrated, agency-wide advancement strategy for the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester. The JCC operates with an annual budget of approximately $14M and a staff of 90+ full-time employees and 250+ part-time, seasonal, and contracted team members. The CAO will grow annual philanthropic revenue beyond its current approximately $2.5M baseline while helping advance comprehensive campaigns, capital, endowment, sponsorship, and institutional funding priorities.

This role is not starting from zero. The JCC has made important progress in recent months through stronger donor engagement, clearer prospect understanding, active campaign work, and more disciplined development practices. The next CAO will build upon that foundation – moving from momentum to a more mature, integrated advancement platform that connects philanthropy, storytelling, sponsorships, grants, donor communications, and stewardship.

Women’s Spa Attendant

With a focus on exceeding the customer service expectations of all staff and members, staff assist with the day-to-day operation of the Spa departments.

Greet every member and guest by name in a friendly and courteous manner.
Assist members in the Spa with any needs.
Assign lockers to new members.
Give tours of the Spa to new or prospective members.
Test the whirlpool chemical levels at designated times, record on daily sheet and call maintenance if chemical levels are outside normal range.
Maintain both the coffee bar and vanity area.
Maintain cleanliness throughout, including but not limited to vanity area, bathrooms, coffee bar, towel areas, lounge, locker room, fitness room and fitness equipment.
Maintain and provide towels: washing, drying, folding and transporting to and from laundry department.
Maintain and return member’s laundry bags after washing by returning to respective member’s lockers.
Complete the communication log daily.
Respond to emergencies safety codes.
If needed, administer CPR/AED services to a member.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility systems, grounds, and buildings. This role supports electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs of building structures and equipment.

Monitor and support of electrical and plumbing as well as mechanical systems related to the swimming pools
Grounds-keeping, grounds maintenance and snow removal (mowing, weeding, weed-whacking, brush removal, snow blower, snow shoveling, etc.)
Monitor and properly maintain building structural items
Timely and accurately conduct equipment checks (e.g. carbon monoxide, fire extinguishers, etc.) and building/equipment inspections (e.g., boilers, backflow, fire suppression, etc.)
Participate in the “on call” rotation schedule for repairs and snow removal
Open and close the building on a rotating schedule
