At the JCC we believe camp must be boundless freedom from the everyday where kids can safely explore new experiences, stoke a sense of adventure and make life-lasting friendships.
Camp Seneca Lake is a premier Jewish overnight camp, located in the gorgeous Finger Lakes and Summer Day at the J is a classic day camp. See below for more details for both camps.

New for Grades 7-8: Leaders in Training
Located on our main campus, we welcome all campers into a safe community of respect and inclusion where each child is encouraged to shine.
The days will be filled with arts + crafts, low ropes adventures, drama, nature + hiking, athletics, music, swimming, and playground time.

With acres to explore, multiple pools and a huge gymnasium, fun is always close at hand.

- Students should bring vegetarian, nut-free snacks and lunch.
- Mask requirements will be informed by federal, state, and county guidelines.
- These programs are open to the community – JCC membership is not required.
KidStage Summer Theater
Looking for a summer theatre experience? We offer TYKEs KidStage for grades 3-6
Campers sing, dance, act, imagine and collaborate to create exuberant on-stage performances. It’s the best of both worlds: theater experience at Rochester’s #1 ranked children’s theatre PLUS fun in the sun including daily swimming and outdoor games. KidStage offers your budding thespian individual attention from our team of professionals, bolstering self-esteem, confidence and individual expression in a fun and nurturing environment.

On the Shores of Seneca Lake
Camp Seneca Lake has provided children entering grades 4–12 with over 90 summers of fun, friends and cherished memories. Over 200 acres, situated in the beautiful Finger Lakes, provides the ideal backdrop for camp. Campers participate in a variety of activities, including a high and low ropes course, land sports, overnight hiking trips, nature, drama, arts + crafts and the waterfront (skiing, sailing, wakeboarding and more).
