Guy Mintus

Guy Mintus is an Israeli-born piano performer, composer, vocalist, bandleader and educator. He possesses the finesse of a trained concert pianist, the energy of a rockstar, and the exploring spirit of a jazz musician. Be it in solo, trio, or orchestral formats, Guy is able to create a musical playground filled with joy, spontaneity, groove, and humor. Officially endorsed by Yamaha Pianos, Guy is the winner of the prestigious Leonard Bernstein Award, the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award and of the audience’s prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival’s piano competition.

Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world’s most beloved bands and creates a special treat for their fans.

Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish are all more than just bands… they are phenomenons. Their creations have artistically inspired people and their mind-blowing live performances have brought people together to form a sense of community around the love for their favorite bands.

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Joel Bloom (1963–1997)

Beloved cantor, teacher, artist, and advocate, Joel touched countless lives in Rochester and beyond. Thirty years after his passing, we come together to celebrate his remarkable spirit through an evening of music, memory, and joy.

Featuring Internationally acclaimed pianists Marina Lomazov & Joseph Rackers, composer and performer Rabbi Noam Katz and other musical guests.

Proceeds and donations benefit the Joel Bloom Memorial Fund at the Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and The Joel Bloom Memorial Garden Fund at Temple Sinai.

Singer/songwriter Dar Williams burst onto the alt rock scene in the late 1990s with hits like As Cool As I Am and Are You Out There? and has been making music ever since. Her 12th studio album I’ll Meet You Here was released in 2021 to great acclaim. Dar Williams’ optimistic lyrics and driving melodies that alternate between beguiling lightness and understated gravity will inspire and entertain fans old and new.

Joan Osborne: Dylanology Live

We are thrilled to welcome Joan Osborne back to the JCC for what is certain to be another fabulous, sold-out show!
 

In 2017, Joan released the critically acclaimed album, Songs of Bob Dylan. Her artistic and soulful reinterpretations of the selection of Dylan songs was an eye-opening moment in an already celebrated career. Eight years after this milestone recording, Osborne released the stunning Dylanology Live. The captivating recording, in front of a live audience, is yet another testament to her artistic range.
