Exciting Updates for 2025!

New! Adventure Course + Zip Line: Get ready for an unforgettable experience on our brand-new, two-story backyard ropes course. Test your balance, agility, and courage as you conquer exciting obstacles high above the ground. Then, soar through the treetops on our thrilling 12-foot zip line! It’s the ultimate challenge and the perfect outdoor adventure for campers.

New! Spin Art Bikes: Bicycle art is a fun and dynamic way to create art–an excellent way to explore movement, spontaneity, and color. This technique uses a spinning bicycle tire to create mesmerizing patterns.

New! Dueling Vertical Bikes: How fast can you pedal? Race your opponent to the top (22 ft!) or clock your best time. Take your cycling experience to new heights.

  • Instructional and recreational swim
  • MUSICIN Education
  • Maccabiah (you may know it as color war!) is July 21-25 (Week 4)
  • The overnight trip to Camp Seneca Lake is scheduled for August 7-8 during Week 6.

Camp Sisol

Grade K–10

At Camp Sisol, our campers (Grades K-10) are in for an unforgettable summer packed with fun, adventure, and meaningful traditions! Each week, they’ll dive into an incredible variety of activities, including music, drama, arts and crafts, athletics, nature exploration, swimming, Judaics, and so much more.

We’re beyond excited to partner with MUSICIN Education, bringing talented instructors from Israel to share their passion for music! Through hands-on instruction, campers will experience the joy of creating and expressing themselves like never before.

For those in Grades 9-10, our program offers an incredible opportunity to take their camp experience to the next level! They’ll participate in small community-based projects, work hands-on with younger groups, and still enjoy all the adventures of camp—all while developing leadership skills that will prepare them to be the future leaders of tomorrow!

On Fridays, we continue our special tradition of welcoming Shabbat together, creating a warm, joyful, and memorable experience for all.

KidStage

Grade 3–6

KidStage campers sing, dance, act, and create, combining top-notch theater training at Rochester’s #1-ranked children’s theatre with classic summer fun, including swimming and outdoor games. With guidance from instructors, campers build confidence, self-expression, and teamwork in a fun and nurturing environment.

In Week 5, campers jump into the world of improvisation with exciting theatre games and exercises for a week of 100% pure fun!

Weeks 6–7 bring a Broadway-style experience as campers rehearse and perform Finding Nemo (Kids Version), with a Friends & Family performance on August 14 and an encore show at camp on August 15.

In Week 8, creativity shines as campers brainstorm, write, and perform their very own original play, bringing their ideas to life on stage!

Familiar Faces

Camp Director, Lori Ball and Camp Admin, Kathy Adams have many years of experience with camp. Ms. Lori and Ms. Kathy are full-time education leaders at the JCC’s Wolk Early Childhood Center and School-Age programs respectively.

You will recognize our Head Counselors this summer as well. We are incredibly fortunate to have the talent, kindness, and enthusiasm of our full-year Wolk educators who are all returning to lead our age groups K-6.

Jewish Educators

Summer Days’ staff will collaborate with the JCC’s Jewish Life department to build multi-faceted experiences based on Jewish values, stories, and Israeli culture.

Jewish values such as respect, honor, and empathy will be intertwined with all we do to create a sense of community and responsibility for the world around us and build social and emotional growth.
