After the sold-out sneak-peek screening here in Rochester in March, One Life returns for an encore. While the film is available to view on several platforms, we believe it is a film worthy of bringing back to the big screen to be seen together, as a community. One Life tells the incredible, emotional true story of Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, played by Sir Anthony Hopkins. In a race against time, Winton convinces the British Committee for Refugees in Czechoslovakia to rescue hundreds of Jewish children before Nazi occupation closes the borders. One Life is based on the book If It’s Not Impossible by Winton’s late daughter, Barbara Winton. Audience Award Best Narrative – Atlanta Jewish Film Festival
