Rochester legend Cinnamon Jones welcomes a team of singers for a tribute to music’s legendary women in song including Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Whitney Houston, and Barbra Streisand. 
 
Lady of Song received rave reviews at the Rochester Fringe Festival, and promises to be an exciting and entertaining event. One show only.

In 2017, Grammy-nominated artist Joan Osborne released the critically acclaimed album, Songs of Bob Dylan. Her artistic and soulful reinterpretations of the selection of Dylan songs was an eye-opening moment in an already celebrated career.

Eight years after milestone recording, Osborne will release the stunning Dylanology Live on April 25th. The captivating recording finds the gifted vocalist performing in front of a live audience, with special guests Amy Helm, Robert Randolph and Jackie Greene. Songs include “Spanish Harlem Incident”, “Buckets Of Rain” “Masters Of War”, “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” and “High Water (For Charley Patton)”.

The first song off Dylanology Live is Osborne’s reimagined psychedelic-blues-infused rendition of “Highway 61 Revisited.”  To be released February 20th.

Joan will play one 75–90 minute set.

The Fiddle Witch

An Evening of Scandinavian Dance with Alyssa Rodriguez and Guest Dance Instructor Caroline McBride 
 
Alyssa Rodriguez (aka The Fiddle Witch) will play live music on the nyckelharpa to accompany dancers who will be taught traditional Scandinavian dances. 
 
Light snacks will be provided (contributions appreciated).

Tribute to Barbra

Thursday, June 26, 7pm
JCC Hart Theater

Sharon Owens began her career as a Streisand Tribute for the multi-million dollar production show Legends in Concert. Her uncanny resemblance both voice and looks propelled her career to the status of headlining in her own show “Barbra and Frank, The Concert That Never Was”. During her time impersonating Streisand, she won a national competition in 2005 on Fox TV called “Performing As…” as well as making it to the finals in 2007 of the ABC hit show “The Next Best Thing”. She has performed for Access Hollywood, Extra, been seen in People magazine and TV guide as one of the best “impersonators” in the world.
