Tuesday, September 24 *10 – 11 am: Erdle Lounge
Jane Austen only lived to publish six novels over one seven year period in the 19th century. All six novels have been in print ever since and are now published in more than 30 languages. In 2007, a BBC poll for World Book Day voted her novel Pride and Prejudice as the book most respondents could not live without. This presentation looks at books, movies, societies, video games, and even currency, inspired by and created in tribute to Jane Austen and her six novels.
