RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!

How do we find joy as we age?? For each of us, it may look a little different. Kelsi RRH PROS coordinator will lead a discussion about limiting beliefs and negative messages we have heard related to aging and how to instead, educate us on how to focus on the life each person wants to live. We will discuss creating a vision for what will bring us satisfaction, no matter what stage of life we are in. We will also review how using our “wise mind” can help to find our path in life and be fully present in the moment (not stuck on the past or fixated on the future)! We will focus on strategies to “find your joy,” practice skills together, and make a workable plan for living out our dreams.
Kelsi is currently working with Unity PROS, a mental health program through RRH. PROS stands for Personalized Recovery Oriented Services. They provide a personalized-centered approach to recovery and members work with staff to define what recovery means specifically for them. Unity PROS provides a wide range of services including wellness, self-management, basic living, intensive relapse prevention, goal acquisition, integrated dual-diagnosis treatment, clinical services, job development services, employment support services, and more.
