Wellness Wednesday – RRH Lifestyle Health + Wellness Series: Dr. Song – Climate Change & Keeping Healthy & PBWF Pot-Luck

RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!

Dr. Song is a faculty physician at the Riedman Health Center for the RGH Internal Medicine Residency Primary Care clinic. Climate change is a growing global concern that poses a threat to not only economies and agriculture, but also to human health and wellness in more ways than simply hotter outdoor temperatures. In this talk, Dr. Song will be reviewing the science of climate change, the multiple impacts climate change can have on our health, and most importantly, what we can do individually and collectively to help protect our health and be part of the solution.

After the presentation, we will be having our monthly Plant Based Whole Foods Pot-Luck in Erdle Lounge with our Lifespan Advocate and foodie enthusiast, Lacey Witcher. Bring your favorite dish to pass and/or recipe from previous weeks recipe exchange. Please bring enough to feed 6 – 8 people and bring a friend with you to. Let’s continue to spread the message of peace, love and plants. Kindly, Trudy Arsenault RN

Please join us in person in the Erdle Lounge from 12:15 – 1pm at the JCC.
