Wellness Wednesday – RRH Lifestyle Health + Wellness Series: Effects of Loneliness and Strategies for Staying Connected

RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!

The epidemic of loneliness in the United States has reached an all-time high in recent years. The physical and mental effects of loneliness can increase the risk for heart disease, stroke, dementia and even premature death. Matthew Drury LMSW works in behavioral health at Rochester Regional Health. Please join Matthew as he educates us on the effects of loneliness and strategies for staying connected. He will be giving us tools and reviewing resources to help us stay connected!
