Wellness Wednesday – RRH Lifestyle Health + Wellness Series: JCC member Dr. Howard and Fall Recipe Exchange

RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!

Do you love the Fall season and do you love food??? If you answered yes to either of those questions, we would love for you to join us for a recipe exchange, recipe book exchange and/or a chance to gather together and talk about one of the most important pillars in Lifestyle Medicine – Nutrition. Did you know the American College of Lifestyle Medicine recommends getting at least 80% of your diet from vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds. We are in the midst of harvest and have so many opportunities to get these beautiful foods into our diet. Please join us as JCC member and chef, Dr. Howard Koft will be reviewing 4 recipes and possibly giving samples. You will also have the opportunity to look through some amazing cookbooks including Forks Over Knives and Blue Zones. ***Reminder, this is a good opportunity to pick a recipe for the PBWF Pot-luck on 9/27/23.

Please join us in person in the Erdle Lounge from 12:15 – 1pm at the JCC.

We’d love to hear from you! Send your comments, suggestions and questions to RRHWellness@RochesterRegional.org

Sadly, we will not be on Zoom today. Stay tuned for next week Climate and Keeping Healthy with Dr. Song
