RRH Wellness Wednesday: Secrets to the Blue Zone & Holiday Pot-Luck

Are you familiar with the term “blue zones”? It was first coined by Dan Buettner in 2004, a National Geographic Explorer. After an expedition to Okinawa, Japan in 2000 to investigate the longevity there, he set out to explore other regions of the world with reportedly high longevity. Dan and his team of scientists found other longevity hotspots worldwide and they are known as the blue zones. The researchers found that all blue zones areas share nine specific lifestyle habits that are called the Power 9.
