KidStage

Ages 3–6

KidStage campers sing, dance, act, and create, combining top-notch theater training at Rochester’s #1-ranked children’s theatre with classic summer fun, including swimming and outdoor games. With guidance from instructors, campers build confidence, self-expression, and teamwork in a fun and nurturing environment.

In Week 5, campers jump into the world of improvisation with exciting theatre games and exercises for a week of 100% pure fun!

Weeks 6–7 bring a Broadway-style experience as campers rehearse and perform Finding Nemo (Kids Version), with a Friends & Family performance on August 14 and an encore show at camp on August 15.

In Week 8, creativity shines as campers brainstorm, write, and perform their very own original play, bringing their ideas to life on stage!

Crafted from the actual testimonies of Rochester-based Holocaust Survivors, CenterStage Theatre and the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester commissioned this new play to put a human face on this important time in history. A cautionary tale on the risks of normalized hate, this inspirational and uplifting play ensures that the voices of our Survivors will never be silenced.

SURVIVORS is available for tours to middle schools, high schools, colleges, and community organizations.
The play is also available for licensing.
