Pilates Reformer is a low-impact, full body workout that builds strength and flexibility with varying degrees of intensity, perfect for all ages. Take a class or a personal training session with one of our experienced instructors and see why this format has been increasing in popularity. We offer a trial three-class package so you can try a few classes without a longer commitment.Â
Pricing
We offer four different packages for Pilates Reformer. A single class ($38), a three-class trial package ($25/session, only available to purchase once per member), a five-class package ($36/session) and a ten-class package ($30/session). Please purchase a class or a class package before registering for a class. Class will be redeemed 15 minutes before the class starts.
The three-class package is only available to purchase at Member Services or by calling 585-461-2000. The other class packages are available to purchase online here.

Sessions expire 6 months from date of purchase. Training packages cannot be refunded. Scheduled personal training sessions must be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours ahead of scheduled time or session may be redeemed by the personal trainer. You must be an active member of the JCC to book personal training.Â

Class Descriptions
Pilates Reformer Foundation Focus
These sessions are ideal for members that are newer to Pilates Reformer training. This class offers a safe class experience to build a solid foundation. There will be a focus on breath, form, and alignment to help you master the Pilates fundamentals so that you can get the most out of your workout as you become more advanced. These sessions are appropriate for all fitness levels and can be modified for individuals with physical limitations. All fitness levels welcome. Class length is one hour. You must register for the class. Class is limited to four people.
Pilates Reformer Flow Focus
This session on the reformer is a full-body workout using the Beginner-Intermediate Pilates exercises. Our goal is to help you feel length and connection to your body while adding the right level of challenge for you. This class is for all levels. If you are new to the Pilates Reformer, we recommend you take our Pilates Reformer Foundation Focus class to ensure a good starting point. Class length is one hour. You must register for the class. Class is limited to six people.

Carrie
Carrie is a Pilates Reformer/Chair/Barrels Trainer and movement educator. For over 35 years, Carrie has provided unique and individualized classes and sessions in dance, yoga, somatics, and “human movement” re-patterning.
Ideally, clients find freedom from pain and improve their posture, gait, and breathing. Within themselves, she hopes they sense improved brain/body connections and greater integral strength in their bodies as well as overall mindset.

Stephen
Stephen Wheeler has 20 years of experience as a certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor. He has certifications in medical qigong, and reiki, is a health and mindset coach, and holds a degree in exercise science.
In 2008 he opened Gramercy Pilates Fitness in NYCÂ and in 2014 moved back to his hometown of Rochester.

Class and Personal Training FAQs + Policies
Water and a towel. Grippy socks are optional.
Registration opens 30 days prior and closes 30 minutes before class begins.
- Registrations can be cancelled by calling Member Services during our open hours.
- If a registration is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, class fee will be refunded.
- If a registration is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, class fee will not be refunded.
- Excessive cancellations may result in being unable to register for Pilates Reformer classes.
- Classes will be enabled with a waiting list and members may add themselves to the waiting list.
- If you signed up for a waiting list and wish to be removed, please contact Member Services.
- If an opening becomes available more than 24 hours in advance of the class start time, you will be moved to the class roster and a session fee wil be charged at the start of the class. If you are unable to take the class, please call Member Services during open hours and cancel your reservation. If a registration is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, no session fee will be charged. If a registration is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a session fee will be charged.Â
- If an opening becomes available less than 24 hours in advance of the class time, Member Services will call you to confirm registration. If we can’t reach you to confirm, we will call the next person on the waiting list so please make sure we have an updated phone number for you. You can update your information at Member Services.
No, the add-on is not needed for the Pilates Reformer classes. If you want to take a mat Pilates class, you will need the add-on because mat Pilates is a specialty class.
