Dr. Sheema Chawla, expert Radiation Oncologist from RRH Lipson Cancer Center will be presenting for Wellness Wednesday on Prostate Cancer: Prevention, Screening, Treatment & More! Did you know apx 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime? Each man’s risk of prostate cancer is different based on several factors including age, race, ethnicity etc. The average age in the USA of men diagnosed with prostate cancer is 67 according to the American Cancer society. Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men.
Please join our expert physician Dr. Chawla for this FREE educational session. She will discuss what you can do for yourself to prevent this disease and encourage and empower you to take preventative measures into your own hands. Dr. Chawla will dive into evidence-based screening techniques, prevention strategies and also touch upon treatment guidelines for prostate cancer and what to expect.
