JFamily Trailblazers – Monthly Adventures in the Backyard Trails

Join friends on monthly family friendly adventures through the JCC trails in our backyard! 

June 14th, 12-4pm – JFest Sensory Trail Hike: Put all your senses to the test on this self guided sensory trail hike during JFest. Create a bubble wand and see, hear, smell, taste, and feel nature all around you!

July 12, 9-11am – Bikes & Bagels: Bring a bike or stroller that can be used on trails as we explore deeper into our trail system. We will end our adventure with bagels and coffee back at the backyard playground!

August 9th, 9-11am – Fairy Garden Make & Take: We will collect our fairy garden materials as we walk on the trail. Once we collect our building materials, we will construct our fairy gardens and have a summer tea party by the playground.

October 11, 2-4pm – Fall Foliage & Fun: Enjoy a fall afternoon of collecting beautiful fall leaves. Our collected foliage will be our creative inspiration as we construct handmade art and enjoy snacks.

November 8, 2-4pm – Family Gratitude Stroll: Let’s take a mindful stroll together with a meaningful focus on gratitude! Snacks and play when our stroll is completed.

December 13, 2-4pm – Hike and Hot Cocoa: Don’t forget your hat and mittens as we go on a brisk hike to see what winter has brought to our trails! Enjoy some hot cocoa and cookies on our return.
