Join Laura Laura Chekow from Temple Sinai as she discusses the works of Maira Kalman. Maira is a Jewish artist, illustrator, writer and designer, known for her painting and writing about the human condition. She is the author and illustrator of over 30 books for adults and children and her work is exhibited in museums around the world. Born in Tel Aviv, her family moved to the Bronx when she was four years old. Learn about her life and work during this overview.
