As October comes to a close we would like to take this moment to remind you of the importance of Breast Health Awareness. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, and most don’t have a family history of the disease. Rochester Regional Health will bring its Mobile Mammography Center to the JCC on Monday, November 18. Appointments will be available 11am–5:45pm. A mammogram is the best screening tool for early detection of breast cancer and women age 40+ are eligible for an annual screening through insurance.
The mobile center offers a spacious, comfortable, spa-like atmosphere with 2 private dressing rooms, and provides:
- 3d mammography screenings from certified technologists
- Evaluation of results by board-certified radiologists
