One Term Wonders-Lecture
This is the first of a quarterly, US Presidents Lecture Series
A number of our U.S. Presidents have served only one term in office. Sadly, they seem to be long forgotten. We will look at four of our Chief Executives – John Quincy Adams, James K. Polk, Rutherford B. Hayes and William Howard Taft. This class will give us a glimpse of their lives, as well as the contributions they made to our nation.
