New York State has a rich geological story which began over one billion years ago. This talk will take us from the very beginnings of New York State through the age of fish and the first forests 380 million years ago to our recent past which featured mile high sheets of ice covering the state.
Our presenter is Dan Krishner, president of the Fossil Section of the Rochester Academy of Sciences (and past vice president of the Academy).
