Wellness Wednesday – Our Kidneys: The Quiet Organs Part 2 + Monthly PBWF pot-luck

RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!

RRH expert nephrologist Sreedevi Chennupati MD, presented to the community in June and the room was filled with insightful questions and enthusiasm. She will be returning August 27th to finish her presentation on the often-overlooked powerhouses of our bodies — the kidneys. Though quiet in their work, our kidneys perform essential functions that keep us alive and well. If you did not attend part 1, no worries. Please consider joining us for part 2!

Dr. Chennupati will explore:
• Urine and its historical lore
• How to think like a kidney doctor
• Common diseases that affect the kidneys
• Medications that can impact kidney health
• The role of diet and exercise in kidney health

Come learn how to better care for these silent guardians of your health.

Zoom is available for those who cannot attend in person.
