Finding Your Balance: Simple Strategies to Reduce Fall Risk
Join us for our monthly Wellness Wednesday Physical Therapy Series featuring Skyler Whipple, PT, a physical therapist with Rochester Regional Health.
Falls are one of the leading causes of injury among older adults, but many falls can be prevented. In this informative session, Skyler will discuss how balance changes as we age, the key components of good balance, and practical ways to reduce your risk of falling. Participants will learn simple exercises, safety tips, and evidence-based recommendations to improve stability, confidence, and independence.
Whether you’re looking to stay active, prevent falls, or help a loved one remain safe, this presentation will provide valuable tools you can begin using right away.
Outside of work, Skyler enjoys playing pickleball with friends, walking her dog, playing soccer, visiting local parks, and traveling with her family.
Community members do not need to be JCC members to attend. These sessions are free and open to the public as part of Rochester Regional Health’s commitment to empowering and supporting the health of our community.
Zoom is available for those who cannot attend in person.
