Join laura chekow from Temple Sinai as she discusses the works of Maira Kalman. Maira is a Jewish artist, illustrator, writer and designer, known for her painting and writing about the human condition. She is the author and illustrator of over 30 books for adults and children and her work is exhibited in museums around the world. Learn about her life and work during this overview.

Join Deb Rosen, JFS, as she discusses Lauren Fox’s Send for Me. This work of historical fiction moves between Germany on the eve of World War II and present-day Wisconsin, unspooling a thread of love, longing, and the ceaseless push and pull of family.  The NY Times called it, “beautifully written, deeply felt, tender and thoughtful.”
