Wellness Wednesday – Find your Steady: Strength, Stability and Confidence for Better Balance
RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!
Please join us for our monthly PT series with Hannah Leask PT, DPT and current Neurological Physical Therapy Resident at Rochester Regional Health. She will be joining us for Wellness Wednesday on June 4th at the JCC. Just a gentle reminder, you do not have to be a member of the JCC to attend Wellness Wednesday in person or on Zoom.
“Find your Steady: Strength, Stability and Confidence for Better Balance” is an interactive and informative session designed to help older adults improve their balance, reduce their fall risk and move with greater confidence throughout their daily lives. Learn why balance changes with age, discover simple yet effective exercises you can do at home, and explore techniques to stay steady on your feet. Whether you are looking to stay independent, prevent falls or just to feel more secure during daily activities, this presentation offers practical tips and guidance in a supportive environment. Get ready to move as we will perform various exercises so that you can perform them safely at home!
We’d love to hear from you! Send your comments, suggestions, and questions to RRHWellness@RochesterRegional.org
