Sip & Science: Frost Town: The Archaeology of a Finger Lakes Ghost Town

Join us for coffee, cookies and science!

Our April speaker is Alexander J. Smith, from the Rochester Academy of Science.

This talk will describe the work of Frost Town Archaeology, a program based at the Cumming Nature Center in South Bristol, New York, that explores the abandoned logging town known locally as Frost Town.

Through historical records, oral histories, and archaeological remains, Dr. Smith and his team have been working to reconstruct the lives of the late 19th and early 20th century inhabitants of the site.
