In Person Wellness Wednesday – Managing Stress with Sound & Meditation

Hi Folks,

After further consideration, it has been decided that tomorrow’s Wellness Wednesday session will be offered in person only due to the nature of the presentation and sound bath experience.

Our Rochester community speaker shared that she will be moving throughout the room using different instruments and sound tools during the session. Unfortunately, this would make it difficult for participants on Zoom to fully hear and experience the presentation.

All the more reason to join us in person!

Wellness Wednesday: Managing Stress with Sound & Meditation

Join us for a calming and restorative Wellness Wednesday as we welcome Jen Saul-Agnitti, a holistic and integrative practitioner in the Rochester community. She followed her passion for supporting emotional and mental well-being by earning a second master?s degree in mental health counseling. Through her work, Jen discovered a deep calling to help individuals regulate their nervous systems and reconnect with a sense of balance and calm.

During this special session, Jen will share how she helps heal and support the community through multiple holistic modalities, including sound healing and meditation. She will introduce participants to the concept of a sound bath, a deeply relaxing experience where therapeutic sounds and vibrations help calm the mind and body.

Research and experience show that sound and meditation practices may:
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Promote relaxation and better sleep
• Support nervous system regulation
• Improve mood and emotional well-being
• Encourage mindfulness and mental clarity

These practices can be especially beneficial for adults 65+, as they offer a gentle, accessible way to manage stress, enhance overall well-being, and support healthy aging.

Come experience this relaxing and educational session and discover how sound and meditation can help you cultivate greater calm, resilience, and well-being.

Community members do not need to be JCC members to attend. These sessions are free and open to the public as part of Rochester Regional Health’s commitment to empowering and supporting the health of our community.

Registration is required. You may register online in advance or sign in the same day at check-in. We never want registration to be a barrier – everyone is welcome.
