In richly layered prose, The Names explores the painful ripple effects of domestic abuse, the messy ties of family, and the possibilities of autonomy and healing.

Beyond Books combines book club traditions (reading the book & book club discussion questions) with various videos that may include author interviews, time in history or other videos pertinent to the topic.
You don’t have to read the book to participate but we hope you do! Regardless, participate in the discussion, as you never know where it will lead.
The group is facilitated by JCC member Barbara Brachfeld. Attendees pick the books together.
The group meets the third Friday of most months.
