RRH Wellness Wednesday – Managing Worries: Why We Get Stuck in the Vicious Cycle of Overthinking
December 17 | 12:15–1:00 PM | JCC Auditorium A & Zoom
RRH Wellness Wednesdays feature Rochester Regional clinicians and experts sharing their experiences and knowledge in an effort to improve your health and wellness, and to help connect you with specialists when you’re interested in individualized care. Check each week for the new topic!
Join us for an insightful Wellness Wednesday session with RRH expert John Finn, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor with the Rochester Regional PROS Program. John will explore the topic of managing worries—why we get stuck in the vicious cycle of overthinking, and how we can break free.
Together, we’ll discuss:
-
How to tell the difference between an irrational fear and a real problem that needs solving
-
Why our minds unintentionally keep worries alive
-
Practical strategies to regain control of our thoughts
-
Tools to stay present, enjoy life, and reduce anxiety—especially important during the busy holiday season
This session will offer supportive, actionable guidance to help you calm your mind, challenge worry patterns, and create more space for peace and clarity.
