Everyone is welcome — just bring:
- A plant-based dish and/or whole food (fruit, vegetables, beans/legumes, nuts, seeds, whole-grains) to share (serves 6–8+)
- A list of ingredients or a copy of the recipe to share with others
- Utensils provided
- Come hungry, curious, and ready to connect with others passionate about healthy, delicious food!
Following the presentation, consider staying for our monthly Plant-Based Whole Foods Potluck. Please bring a plant-based dish to serve approximately 6–8 people, along with a copy of the recipe or ingredient list to share. A whole-foods, plant-based way of eating is rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and phytonutrients that support heart health, healthy cholesterol levels, blood sugar balance, digestive health, and reduced inflammation. It’s also naturally nutrient-dense and can support healthy weight management and long-term disease prevention. Variety is key and new research shows we should be aiming for 30 different types of plants each week. See Nurse Trudy with any questions or need ideas on what to bring. ***If you don’t feel like cooking a plant-based dish to pass, other options are to bring a whole food ready to eat, hummus/dips/spreads, olive bar treats, plant-based desserts, nuts/seeds etc. We look forward to moving, breathing, and nourishing ourselves together.
