Wellness Wednesday – Hematology and Blood Cancer Awareness

Please join us for this Wellness Wednesday presentation featuring RRH expert Dr. Ronald Sham, a seasoned hematologist and oncologist from RRH Lipson Cancer Center. In recognition of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Sham will provide an overview of general concepts related to blood counts and the vital role of different blood cell types. He will also discuss various blood diseases, including leukemia, offering insights into how these conditions affect the body and why awareness and early detection are so important. This session will provide valuable knowledge for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of blood health and its critical impact on overall wellness.

This will not be a power-point presentation, more of a laid back conversational type session with Dr. Sham’s handy artwork. He often uses drawings as educational tool with his patients. We will be sure to have a white-board ready to go for Dr. Sham.
